Pretty Ugly
By Red Cor - Corina Andrian (Romania) I was born.
I was born. It was not my choice to come into this world. But it was. I was passive. As I grow, I am deprived of all the things that make me beautiful, my hard edges, my imperfections, my grimaces. I am forcefully dispossessed. They belong to me. They belong to me. I have become poor. I have nothing. Caca-capitalismo
By Jonathan Homsey (Australia) Caca-capitalismo is a comical meditation on our internal monologues directly inspired by the fight for resources driven by capitalism and hoarding. Inspired by real life Karen stories during COVID-19, this accessible fotonovela takes the absurdity of ignorance and cranks the volume up. The work is audio described in Spanish and English and is captioned in English. To present this work both languages should be shared for people with low vision.
